ÐÂÏã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±¼Ç¼ (RIC), established in 1854 as Rhode Island's first public institution of higher education, is a regional comprehensive public college that serves approximately 5,800 undergraduate, graduate and doctoral students through its five schools.

Our Campus and Community

We are a metropolitan campus with a suburban feel. ÐÂÏã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±¼Ç¼ is located on a beautiful, green 180-acres in the historic, creative capital city of Providence. Our pristine campus, located in Providence's residential Mount Pleasant neighborhood, provides students with the full college experience. Student organizations, activities, sports, and student success services make ÐÂÏã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±¼Ç¼ a vibrant, supportive, and safe place to both learn and live.

Our broader community, the city of Providence, allows students the freedom to explore and grow beyond our campus, providing access to unique urban amenities and experiences. We also have a satellite campus in downtown Providence, at the Rhode Island Nursing Education Center, and at the ÐÂÏã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±¼Ç¼ Workforce Development Hub in Central Falls, RI.
